Society Shop - How It Works

The Shop functions on a 24-hr basis, just email the completed order form to me and I will post the items on the next working day or hold them until the next training meeting (only), as you require. If you need kit urgently for a specific appointment for example, then call me and we will arrange something.  I can always get extra embroidery done too if necessary and at fairly short notice.  

 Mobile Shop:

 I will bring a few stock items to the meetings but am limited to what I can carry.  It really does help if you can anticipate and pre order what you require and it will avoid disappointment on the night.

 Order Form:

  The order form is updated regularly and shows the Shop's stock at the time of posting. Print off a copy to post or complete online and forward as an email attachment to martyn_holloway@ntlworld.com.

Please provide a forwarding address if you require items to be posted as the members list may not be completely up to date.  The cost of postage will then be emailed for you to add when forwarding payment.  Details are on the Order Form. Please DO NOT SEND a cheque in advance, what you require may not be in stock!

 Otherwise, please indicate disposal instructions.  If you are unable to collect your order at the prescribed meeting I shall endeavour to post it to you, again at your cost, unless you make another specific arrangement.  This will get kit to you more quickly and save orders from incessant travel to and from training meetings..

 N.B. If that's all too difficult then an email or phone call will do.

 Pricing:

 Most items are sold at cost albeit rounded up to the nearest whole £.  Other items are subsidised depending on available sponsorship although restrictions on entitlement may apply.

 New Kit:

 The Society has a commitment to its active referees with the objective that all who represent HRURS on the field of play look smart, competent and professional.

 Entitlement to purchase Society match shirts at subsidised prices is as follows:

 At the Committee's discretion, newly qualified referees will be provided with one fully subsidised HRURS starter shirt on request at a Society Training Meeting in order to be properly attired when representing the Society.  Referees will be expected to return the shirt if they are unable to complete 10 Society appointed games within that season.

 

Referees who are serving on a National Panel, Group or Federation Squad or who have achieved a minimum of 10 Society appointments in the previous or current season and attend Society Training Meetings are deemed to be 'active'.  Active referees and advisors may purchase one current season's shirt at the subsidised price set for that season at a Society Training Meeting only.

 At the further discretion of the Committee, graded referees transferring to HRURS from another Society will be considered active referees by previous service and entitled as above.

 Active referees who have completed a minimum of 25 Society appointed games in the previous or current season and attend Society Training Meetings may purchase a second current season's shirt at the subsidised price at a Society Training Meeting only.

 All other active referee members may purchase a second current season shirt at the cost price after initial entitlements have been taken up. 

 Members are of course encouraged to wear their previous season’s shirts when appropriate.
